Buffering or slow playback
Buffering usually means the content cannot load fast enough. This is almost always a network or provider issue, not an STBAir issue. STBAir is a media player only — content quality depends on your service provider and network.
Quick fixes:
- •Check your internet speed — requires at least 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K
- •Use a wired connection — Ethernet is more stable than WiFi
- •Restart your router — clears network congestion
- •Try different content — if only some items buffer, it is a provider-side issue
- •Contact your service provider — they may have server congestion or need to switch you to a closer server
